A Shadow Puppet project
These are some shots from a short shadow puppet show I wrote and made. If you imagine steady hand-drums playing in the background and a deep swahili voice, you’re half way there. This was one of our narrative module projects, which is intended to echo the traditional german folk tale’s tendency not to permit the misbehaving child to survive to learn from their mistakes!
The Birds
A six image interpretation of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic was the brief… Unfortunately I only ended up telling it with five. I decided the birds would be harassing a young woman with countless letters from a bitter suitor, ultimately returning with a single lock of hair .
